If you look at the top of the teat where the milk comes out, the differences are as follows;. Slow Flow = One small hole. 0-3months. Medium Flow = Three small holes. 3-6 months. Variable Flow = Criss-cross (X shape). 6 months+
The tube should fit through if you give it a little squeeze, push and wiggle. Once it is through, give it a gentle pull on the other side to get it all the way through. The points of the X shape will then help "seal" the tube into the teat.
